Kingsman - Huntsman Goes Under Cover!

Kingsman - HUNTSMAN GOES UNDER COVER!

Huntsman has gone undercover this week as it plays host to the launch of Twentieth Century Fox movie, Kingsman and a diffusion clothing line of the same name. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the exciting spy caper is great fun with a cast that includes rising star Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Michael Caine and Samuel L Jackson.  The film was written by Vaughn and Jane Goldman and based on the comic book, Secret Service. The Kingsman Secret Service Headquarters are hidden behind the “front” of a Savile Row tailoring house, instantly recognisable to viewers, as the good ship Huntsman at no. 11.  Vaughn instantly thought of Huntsman when considering the film, having first visited our shop when he turned eighteen and his mother ordered him his first bespoke suit!  The store has played a role in his life ever since and served as the perfect inspiration for the movie.  Viewers will instantly recognise the façade, entrance way, wooden horses and fitting rooms. We won’t give away too much here, as the “shop” has plenty of surprises, many of which we are tempted to try out ourselves! Filming at the store took place in November 2013 and was followed up before Christmas 2014 with our very own head cutter, Patrick Murphy, appearing in the title track video for the film, written and performed by Take That. Combining a sartorial eye and an appreciation of the gentleman, the Kingsman live by the motto, “Manners Maketh Man” and the notion that the suit is the modern man’s armour.  We couldn’t agree more!  Check back soon for our list of manners that we believe make a gentleman.  Compiled by our staff we believe our rules provide excellent pointers for hitting the right mark.  What suggestions would you have?
