Huntsman is the only tailor on Savile Row to boast its own handloom and to offer clients the opportunity to create their own signature tweed and have it sampled in-house. From the initial consultation to creation, clients can fine-tune their tweed design, working with our Cloth Development Specialist to create a tweed exactly to your specification.From the comfort of Huntsman Club, you can enjoy the satisfaction of watching your tweed roll off the Huntsman loom in the form of a test blanket, offering a highly personalised and truly bespoke experience.

Whilst every bespoke Huntsman garment is special, when that garment is cut from a tweed that you designed, it gives you a sense of distinction that takes tailoring from an art form to a sartorial legacy.

Step 1:
Consult with Our Cloth Development Specialists

At your initial consultation you'll meet with your Client Manager, and our tweed development experts to discuss patterns, colour palettes, and fabric textures that best reflect your style. You'll explore the Huntsman tweed archive ledgers for inspiration, and select yarn swatches to create your design.
Step 2:
Your Initial CAD Review

Once you have selected the colours and design inspiration for your tweed, it's over to the Huntsman team to create CAD drawings. It's unlikely from your initial consultation you'll have a single idea in mind. Our team will create several compositions and styles for you to review.

Step 3:
Witness the Weaving Process

Once you've narrowed down your prefered design, it's time to experience the magic of fabric creation as your design comes to life on Huntsman’s handloom. Huntsman remains the only house on Savile Row with the ability to sample your tweed in-house. This means you can see and feel your tweed for final approval, before the Mill begins weaving your final cloth.
Step 4:
Your Bespoke Tweed, Ready for Tailoring

Once woven, your custom tweed can be transformed into a bespoke suit, jacket, or kept as a keepsake for generations to come. We'll keep your 30 metre bolt in-house, exclusively for your use, and ready for you to use for future commissions.
