From Sydney Harbour to Savile Row, Tony Waters found inspiration in the backdrop of his morning jogs. The dynamic contrast of Sydney’s iconic architecture, shimmering waters, and sunlit sandstone cliffs provided the perfect foundation for an innovative take on classic tweed. His design captures the vibrant blues of the ocean, the warm golden tones of sun-kissed rock, and the lush greens of the Australian coastline. From the moment we saw his concept, it was clear this wasn’t a cloth destined for traditional tweed. Instead, its light, fresh aesthetic made it the perfect choice for summer tailoring - reimagined in linen rather than wool.

To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with Maison Hellard, a name synonymous with excellence in linen weaving. This exclusive fabric is crafted from raw Normandy flax, prized for its superior quality and breathability, and woven in Italy to create an elegant yet effortlessly wearable cloth. The result is a textile as soft as it is sophisticated, offering a luxurious drape and an air of nonchalant refinement. When worn, one can almost feel the warmth of the Australian sun and imagine a sea breeze whispering through the fibres.
